MARCEL OSTERTAG

Marcel Ostertag learned his fashion expertise while studying at the renowned Central St. Martins College in London. He subsequently founded his own fashion label in Munich in 2006. That same year he presented his first collection for men and women at the London Fashion Week. The creations of Marcel Ostertag are often inspired by the 70s and 80s and blend a wide variety of influences to create a distinctive style between traditional elements and modernity. Suited for everyday use, his glasses and sunglasses are signature pieces that set trends rather than simply pursuing them. The collection by Marcel Ostertag combines classic shapes with modern colours, patterns and diverse materials. Each piece is carefully designed with great dedication, as expressed not least by the creative product names - "love" in all its facets, variations and languages. The designer draws the inspiration he needs for his ideas from the vibrant streets and dynamism of an impressive cosmopolitan city around his headquarters in Berlin.
